Ozurumba, an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) began his professional career at Arthur Andersen Professional Services now known as KPMG in Nigeria. He advanced his career into the banking sector where he worked First Atlantic Bank Plc. He then went on to work with African Capital Alliance.

 

He has worked in a number of high-profile organizations including Nextzon Business Services Limited where he served as Head of Venture and Business Advisory Services and Head of Corporate Venturing and Business Incubation. During his time at Nextzon, he coordinated the activities of the group to raise funds and develop business models for Entrepreneurs and Businesses of various sizes.

Ozurumba also served as a Senior Manager at HEIRS Alliance Group where he managed the Small and Medium Industries Equity Investment Scheme (SMIEIS Funds) for Standard Trust Bank PLC (STB) and Continental Trust Bank Limited (CTB) amounting to about N1 billion as at 2004.

 

Ozurumba Afigbo has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Second Class Upper Division, from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
