The NNPC Academy engaged Caritas Communications Limited once more to design and deliver a Crisis Management and Crisis Communication Masterclass & Workshop for the Group’s Corporate Communications executives. This dual-track programme was tailored to provide NNPCL communication leaders with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise to anticipate, manage, and communicate effectively during crises.

OUR ACTIVATION

–  Designed and facilitated a dual-track training programme combining crisis management strategy and crisis communication techniques
– Delivered interactive modules on timing in crisis response, stakeholder engagement, proactive scenario planning, message tailoring, and the integration of digital/AI tools for effective communication
– Conducted practical simulations and mock crisis exercises to enable delegates apply lessons in real time
– Distributed daily evaluation forms to capture participants’ feedback on content quality, facilitators’ performances, and learning outcomes

OUR RESULTS

– Achieved 100% participants satisfaction as delegates commended the relevance of modules, depth of content, and facilitation strategies

– All participants reported significant improvement regarding new insights, proactive crisis planning, message framing, crisis communication and digital response strategies

– 100% of delegates applied they learnt during simulation exercises to demonstrate immediate improvement in crisis response capabilities

– Enhanced NNPCL’s overall corporate resilience and communication readiness as executives are better equipped to safeguard reputation and maintain trust during crises
